URBAN has launched the ARC NOTE, a new screen-free AI fitness band in India that combines meeting-recording features with everyday health and fitness tracking. The company calls it India’s first AI Meeting Smart Fitness Band.

Unlike a conventional smartwatch, the ARC NOTE does not have a display. Design: A Fitness Band Without a Screen

The most unusual part of the ARC NOTE is its screen-free design. There is no display showing notifications, apps or the time. URBAN says this approach is intended to reduce distractions during meetings and conversations.

Instead of interacting with a screen, users can control the recording function directly from the band. A double-tap starts recording, while pressing once stops it. The band also provides a light and vibration signal when recording begins, so users can tell when the microphone is active.

URBAN says the ARC NOTE is not an always-listening device. Recording starts only when the user manually activates it.

The band uses a lightweight woven nylon strap designed for extended wear, including overnight use.

AI Meeting Recorder

The ARC NOTE’s main feature is its AI Meeting Recorder. It can record approximately 16 hours of audio on a full charge, making it possible to use the band across multiple meetings before needing to recharge it.

After recording, the audio can be processed through the companion app. The AI transcription feature converts conversations into searchable text, which can make it easier to locate names, numbers, decisions or specific statements from a meeting.

This could be particularly useful for professionals, students, journalists and anyone who regularly needs to remember details from conversations.

Translation, Meeting Summaries and AI Mind Maps

The ARC NOTE goes beyond simple voice recording by using AI to turn conversations into different forms of information.

It supports translation across more than 17 Indian languages, allowing conversations to be processed and read back in another language. This could be useful during multilingual meetings or conversations.

The Minutes of Meeting feature generates a shorter summary containing important discussion points and decisions. Instead of going through an entire transcript, users can use the summary to quickly understand what was discussed.

The Auto Mind Map feature takes the topics, ideas and decisions from a conversation and organizes them visually into a mind map. This is intended to make longer discussions easier to understand and revisit.

All of these features are accessed through the companion app rather than on the band itself.

Health & Fitness Tracking

Although the ARC NOTE is positioned heavily around AI productivity, it also works as a fitness band.

It provides 24×7 monitoring of heart rate, SpO₂, sleep and stress. The band has six sensors, which URBAN says are used for health and fitness tracking.

The device also includes AI Health Insights, which analyzes the collected health information and provides personalized insights based on the user’s tracked data.

However, these features should be treated as wellness and fitness tools rather than medical devices. The available information does not establish that the ARC NOTE can diagnose medical conditions.

Battery Life & Water Resistance

URBAN claims that the ARC NOTE can deliver up to 15 days of everyday battery life and up to 30 days in standby mode. Its dedicated recording mode can operate for approximately 16 hours on a full charge.

The band is also rated IPX68 and is designed to handle rain, sweat and everyday splashes. URBAN specifically says the band is not intended for swimming, despite the water-resistance rating.

The combination of long everyday battery life and a screen-free design means users do not have to charge the band as frequently as many display-based smartwatches.

App Support & Subscription

The ARC NOTE works with a companion app available for Android and iOS. Because the band has no screen, the app is where users access recordings, transcripts, translations, meeting summaries, mind maps and health information.

One of the more important aspects of the ARC NOTE’s pricing is that URBAN says there are no monthly or annual subscription fees for its core features.

Recording, transcription, translation, meeting summaries, mind maps and health tracking are included without a separate recurring subscription.

That could make the ARC NOTE more attractive than AI wearables that require an additional subscription after the initial hardware purchase.

Price & Availability in India

The URBAN ARC NOTE is priced at ₹6,999 in India.

  • URBAN ARC NOTE – ₹6,999
  • Colour Options :- Mocha, Jet Black, Blue, Lime, Gray, Blush, Sage

Customers who advance book the ARC NOTE can get a ₹1,000 discount, bringing the effective price down to ₹5,999 during the booking period.

Advance bookings for the ARC NOTE opened on August 31, 2026, while general sales will begin on September 7, 2026.

URBAN says the ARC NOTE will be sold through its official online store, authorized trade partners, major e-commerce platforms and retail stores across India.

ARC Pro and ARC Go Also Launched

URBAN has also expanded its ARC lineup with two additional fitness bands.

Gray – Blue – Black – Pink

The ARC Pro is priced at ₹3,999 and focuses on AI-powered recovery insights, personalized recommendations, 110+ sports modes and continuous health tracking. It offers up to 30 days of battery life.

Black – Blue – Pink

The ARC Go is priced at ₹2,999 and is aimed at everyday fitness users. It includes 24×7 monitoring for heart rate, SpO₂, sleep, stress and activity, along with more than 110 sports modes and up to 45 days of battery life.

Model Price Main Focus Battery Life
ARC NOTE ₹6,999 AI meetings + health Up to 15 days
ARC Pro ₹3,999 Recovery + fitness Up to 30 days
ARC Go ₹2,999 Everyday fitness Up to 45 days

All three ARC models follow a subscription-free approach for their core features.

Competition & Alternatives

The ARC NOTE is different from a conventional smartwatch because its main purpose is not notifications or apps. Instead, it combines conversation recording, AI processing and fitness tracking in a screen-free form factor.

At ₹6,999, buyers who primarily want a traditional smartwatch experience may find more value in a conventional smartwatch with a display. However, users who attend frequent meetings or need to document conversations may find the ARC NOTE’s recording and AI tools more useful.

The ARC Pro and ARC Go are also worth considering for buyers who do not need meeting-recording features. They offer longer battery life at lower prices, while the ARC NOTE is the only model in the new lineup that combines AI meeting tools with health tracking.

Final Verdict: Should You Buy It?

The URBAN ARC NOTE is an unusual wearable that is trying to solve a different problem from traditional smartwatches. Instead of putting another screen on your wrist, it focuses on capturing conversations and turning them into useful information.

Its biggest strengths are the 16-hour recording capability, AI transcription, 17+ language translation, meeting summaries and mind maps. The addition of 24×7 health tracking also means it can function as an everyday fitness band.

The lack of a screen will be a benefit for some users but a limitation for others. If you want to check notifications, time, workout information or other data directly from your wrist, a conventional smartwatch will make more sense.

Best for: Professionals, students, journalists, entrepreneurs and users who frequently attend meetings or need to remember important conversations.

Consider alternatives if: You mainly want notifications, calls, apps and fitness information on a wrist display.

Bottom line: At ₹6,999, the URBAN ARC NOTE is an interesting wearable because it combines AI meeting tools and health tracking without requiring a subscription. The ₹5,999 advance-booking price makes its proposition more attractive for users who can actually make regular use of its recording and AI features.
