OPPO has launched the Enco X4 as its latest premium true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in India. The earbuds combine a dual-driver audio system tuned in collaboration with Dynaudio, AI-powered adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and support for high-bitrate wireless lossless audio transmission. They also introduce features such as spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, AI-powered translation and Conversation Awareness.

The OPPO Enco X4 debuted in China before its global introduction on October 21, 2026, followed by its India launch on October 22. The earbuds feature an 11mm TRF diaphragm woofer and a 6mm planar diaphragm tweeter, with a dedicated digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) for each driver. The company has also added Bluetooth 6.1, dual-device connectivity and wireless charging.

The Enco X4 is primarily aimed at users who want detailed wireless audio, adaptive noise cancellation and smart connectivity features. Its main differentiators are LHDC Lossless audio support with compatible OPPO Find X10 series smartphones and a claimed total battery life of up to 53 hours with the charging case.

Dual-Driver Audio System With Dynaudio Tuning

The OPPO Enco X4 features an 11mm TRF diaphragm woofer and a 6mm planar diaphragm tweeter. Each driver has a dedicated DAC, allowing the earbuds to process lower and higher frequencies separately.

The woofer handles bass frequencies, while the tweeter is designed to reproduce higher-frequency detail. This arrangement gives OPPO greater flexibility in tuning the sound, although actual audio quality will depend on the final tuning and the listener’s preferences.

Developed in collaboration with Dynaudio, the earbuds offer five sound profiles: Dynaudio Original Sound, Dynaudio High-Resolution, Pure Vocals, Crisp Highs and Thundering Bass. These profiles let users adjust the sound presentation to suit different music genres and listening preferences.

The earbuds also support Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and have a listed frequency response range of 10Hz to 40kHz.

LHDC Lossless Audio Support

The Enco X4 is OPPO’s first pair of TWS earbuds to support its full-chain wireless lossless audio implementation through LHDC Lossless. When paired with compatible OPPO Find X10 series smartphones, the earbuds support transmission rates of up to 2.3Mbps and playback at up to 24-bit/48kHz.

The higher transmission rate is intended to preserve more detail during wireless playback. However, the benefit depends on the connected device, audio settings and source material. LHDC Lossless is not available in the same way across every smartphone, so buyers using other Android devices or iPhones should check codec compatibility before purchasing.

The earbuds also support cross-ecosystem spatial audio across Android, iOS and Windows devices, with dynamic head tracking available where supported.

AI Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation

The OPPO Enco X4 uses a triple-microphone system, a dedicated 6nm neural processing unit (NPU) and intelligent noise-cancellation algorithms to reduce surrounding sounds.

OPPO claims up to 100% stronger overall noise-cancellation performance and up to 30% better cancellation in the vocal frequency range compared with the previous-generation Enco X3s. These figures are based on the company’s laboratory testing and should not be interpreted as independent measurements.

AI Real-time Adaptive ANC can recognise different environments, including trains, buses, taxis and aeroplanes, and adjust noise cancellation according to surrounding conditions. The aim is to reduce the need to change settings manually while travelling.

Conversation Awareness is another useful addition. When the wearer starts speaking, the earbuds can lower the music volume and switch to transparency mode, allowing conversations without removing the earbuds.

AI Clear Call and Smart Features

For calls, the Enco X4 combines three microphones with a voice pickup unit (VPU) and AI Clear Call processing. This system is designed to distinguish the wearer’s voice from background noise, particularly in busy environments.

The earbuds also support AI Live Translation, Google Gemini voice activation on compatible devices, head gestures for selected call controls and Neck Monitoring reminders.

However, these features are not universally available across all connected phones. Some require compatible OPPO or OnePlus devices, specific ColorOS versions or regional software support. Dolby-powered Clear Audio Recording is optimised for OPPO Find X series smartphones, with the best experience available on the Find X10 series and later models.

Battery Life and Charging

Each earbud packs a 65mAh battery, while the charging case houses a 576mAh battery. According to OPPO’s official specifications, the Enco X4 offers the following playback times at 50% volume under laboratory testing conditions:

Playback mode Earbuds With charging case
AAC, ANC off Up to 13 hours Up to 53 hours
AAC, ANC on Up to 6 hours Up to 26 hours
LHDC, ANC off Up to 10 hours Up to 42 hours
LHDC, ANC on Up to 5.5 hours Up to 22 hours

These figures are manufacturer estimates. Actual battery life will vary with volume, calls, connectivity and enabled features.

The case supports USB Type-C wired charging and wireless charging. OPPO rates wired charging at approximately 55 minutes for the earbuds and 65 minutes for the earbuds and case together. Wireless charging takes around 150 minutes for the combined unit under the company’s test conditions.

Design, Connectivity and Durability

Each Enco X4 earbud weighs approximately 5.6 grams, while the earbuds and charging case together weigh about 53 grams. The design combines matte and glossy finishes with metallic-finish edges on the case.

The earbuds carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, providing protection against dust and water jets under specified testing conditions. The charging case does not carry a confirmed IP55 rating.

For connectivity, the Enco X4 supports Bluetooth 6.1, AAC, SBC, LHDC and LC3 codecs, and can connect to two devices simultaneously. OPPO lists a standard Bluetooth range of up to 10 metres. Its separate Smart Bluetooth feature can reportedly extend the connection range to as much as 400 metres in open environments when paired with designated OPPO or OnePlus devices. This is a manufacturer claim for a specific feature and should not be confused with the normal Bluetooth range.

Price in India and Availability

The OPPO Enco X4 is priced at ₹19,999 in India. It is available in Glacier White and Aurora Violet colour options.

Sales are scheduled to begin on October 29, 2026, through the OPPO India website and Amazon India.

The official OPPO store also lists bank discounts and EMI options subject to applicable terms. Buyers should check the store for current offers, as promotional prices may differ from the standard retail price.

Final Verdict: Should You Buy It?

The OPPO Enco X4 is aimed at users who prioritise wireless audio quality, adaptive noise cancellation and deeper integration with OPPO’s latest smartphones. Its dual-driver configuration, Dynaudio tuning and LHDC Lossless support are its main differentiators, while wireless charging and long claimed battery life add everyday convenience.

At ₹19,999, however, buyers should consider whether they will benefit from its more specialised features. OPPO Find X10 series owners are better positioned to take advantage of the lossless audio implementation and ecosystem integration. Users with other smartphones should verify compatibility before paying a premium.

Best for: OPPO Find X10 owners, music listeners interested in high-resolution wireless audio and commuters who need adaptive noise cancellation.

Consider alternatives if: You want a more affordable pair of premium earbuds or do not need OPPO-specific features.

Bottom line: The Enco X4 offers a feature-rich specification sheet, but its value at ₹19,999 will ultimately depend on real-world sound quality, noise cancellation and compatibility.
