Motorola has expanded its wearable portfolio with the launch of the Moto Watch 2 Fit and Moto Buds 2 Ultra, alongside the Signature 27. The new smartwatch brings Polar-powered fitness and wellness insights to Motorola’s Fit lineup for the first time, while the earbuds introduce Bose SoundDesign tuning and active noise cancellation.
The Moto Watch 2 Fit focuses on workout tracking, sleep monitoring and longer battery life, with a claimed endurance of up to 12 days. The Moto Buds 2 Ultra, meanwhile, feature a hybrid dual-driver setup, AI-powered live translation and up to 37 hours of total playback with the charging case.
Both products are designed to expand Motorola’s connected-device ecosystem, with additional Motorola Qira capabilities planned for compatible devices through future updates.
Moto Watch 2 Fit: Specifications and Features

The Moto Watch 2 Fit features a 1.85-inch OLED display with a 390 × 450-pixel resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate and up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness. Its 2mm bezels provide more screen space, while Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display.
The smartwatch has an aluminium frame and weighs 28.1g without the strap. It runs on an RTOS-based platform and includes Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, allowing users to answer calls directly from their wrist when connected to a compatible smartphone.
One of its main additions is Polar-powered fitness tracking. This brings features such as Running Index, Daily Activity Score, Daily Activity Goal and Active Intensity Zones. Running Index evaluates aerobic fitness and running efficiency using recorded heart-rate information, making it useful for users monitoring their running progress.
For recovery and sleep monitoring, the watch includes Polar Nightly Recharge and Sleep Plus Stages. Serene offers guided breathing exercises with biofeedback, while Smart Calories estimates daily energy expenditure using recorded activity and personal information.
Motorola also includes heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, stress insights and menstrual cycle tracking. The latter is a first for a Moto watch. Activity Detection can automatically recognise more than 100 workout types, and dual-frequency L1/L5 GPS is included for outdoor activity tracking.
The watch has a 400mAh battery. Motorola advertises up to 12 days of battery life under light-use conditions. More detailed specifications reported by GSMArena indicate up to seven days with the always-on display enabled, 12 days with it disabled and up to 16 days in low-power mode.
It also supports IP68 protection and 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for everyday exposure to water and swimming activities within the manufacturer’s stated limitations.
Motorola Qira support, including the Ask Anything experience, is expected to arrive in the coming months.
Moto Buds 2 Ultra: Specifications and Features

The Moto Buds 2 Ultra are Motorola’s new premium true wireless earbuds, featuring Bose SoundDesign tuning and Bose QuietControl active noise cancellation.
Each earbud uses a hybrid dual-driver configuration combining an 11mm dynamic driver with a Knowles balanced armature. The larger driver handles lower frequencies, while the balanced armature is designed to reproduce higher-frequency details.
The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio and, when paired with compatible Motorola smartphones, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking. The latter adjusts the spatial audio presentation in response to head movement, creating a more immersive listening experience.
Bose QuietControl ANC is designed to reduce surrounding noise, while Transparency Mode allows users to hear environmental sounds without removing the earbuds.
For calls and voice recording, each earbud features three high-signal-to-noise-ratio microphones and a dedicated Voice Pickup Unit. Motorola is positioning this combination for clearer voice capture during calls, interviews and content creation.
The earbuds also introduce AI Live Translate, which can deliver translated conversations through the earbuds when used with a compatible Motorola phone and supported languages. Head Gestures allow users to answer or decline calls with a nod or shake.
Other features include Dual Connection for connecting two devices simultaneously, Audio Share, wear detection and Google Find Hub integration. Motorola Qira can also be accessed by long-pressing the left earbud, with hands-free voice activation planned for a future update.
The Moto Buds 2 Ultra offer up to eight hours of playback on a single charge and up to 37 hours with the charging case. A 10-minute charge is claimed to provide up to three hours of listening time. The earbuds also support wireless charging and carry an IP57 protection rating.

Final Verdict
The Moto Watch 2 Fit and Moto Buds 2 Ultra expand Motorola’s premium accessory lineup with two different feature priorities.
The smartwatch stands out for its Polar-powered fitness and recovery insights, dual-frequency GPS and claimed 12-day battery life. It could appeal to users who want more detailed workout and sleep information without moving to a more expensive smartwatch category.
The Moto Buds 2 Ultra take a different approach, combining Bose audio tuning, hybrid drivers, ANC and AI Live Translate. Their microphone arrangement and voice pickup hardware may also appeal to people who regularly make calls or record audio.
Both products have useful hardware additions, although independent testing will be important to evaluate their tracking accuracy, noise cancellation and actual battery performance.
