Design & Build
The Nova LapTab is designed around its 2-in-1 positioning rather than the traditional tablet format. Ai+ supports the device with an attachable physical keyboard, allowing users to use it in a more laptop-like configuration when writing documents, browsing or working with productivity applications.
The tablet also supports stylus input, which adds another use case for students and professionals who prefer handwriting, annotations or digital note-taking.
Ai+ is offering the Nova LapTab in Teal Green and Dark Blue. The company has positioned the device for both productivity and media consumption, with the large display and quad-speaker setup supporting the entertainment side of the experience as well.
However, Ai+ has not published complete dimensions or weight information in the launch specifications reviewed. An IP rating or specific durability certification has also not been announced.
Display
The display is arguably the Nova LapTab’s most important hardware feature.
It uses a 13.2-inch panel with a 2400 × 1600-pixel resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and a 3:2 aspect ratio. Ai+ claims up to 450 nits of peak brightness.
The 2.4K resolution is useful on a screen this large because it provides more pixels for text, images and video than a basic Full HD-class tablet display. The 90Hz refresh rate should also make scrolling and supported animations appear smoother.
The 3:2 aspect ratio is more important to the Nova LapTab’s productivity pitch. Compared with the wider 16:9-style displays commonly used for video consumption, a 3:2 screen provides more vertical workspace. That can be useful when reading documents, browsing websites, editing text or working with spreadsheets.
The 450-nit brightness figure should be adequate for many indoor environments, although outdoor visibility will depend on ambient light and the screen’s actual sustained brightness. Ai+ has not provided independent display measurements.
Performance
The Nova LapTab is powered by a MediaTek MT8755 octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.5GHz. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 1TB according to launch specifications.
The 8GB RAM configuration fits the tablet’s productivity positioning, providing more memory headroom for switching between multiple Android applications.
For everyday tasks such as web browsing, document editing, online classes, video calls and media consumption, the hardware is positioned in the mid-range tablet category.
However, the MT8755 has not yet been independently tested in the Nova LapTab. There are therefore no reliable real-world benchmark, gaming or sustained-performance figures to use at launch.
Buyers interested in demanding gaming should wait for independent testing rather than assuming that the 8GB RAM configuration alone guarantees high-end gaming performance.
Camera
The Nova LapTab has a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
The rear camera can be useful for photographing documents, scanning information or taking quick reference images. However, the camera is unlikely to be the main reason to buy a large productivity tablet.
The 8MP front camera is more relevant to the device’s intended use because video meetings, online classes and remote work are natural use cases for a tablet that can be paired with a keyboard.
Ai+ has not disclosed detailed sensor specifications, aperture, optical stabilisation or other camera hardware information. The megapixel counts alone therefore cannot establish image quality.
Battery & Charging
The Nova LapTab packs a 10,000mAh battery, making battery capacity one of its stronger specifications.
The large battery complements the 13.2-inch display and 5G connectivity, both of which can increase power consumption during extended use. The device supports 33W charging, which is notably faster than the 18W charging offered by the smaller Ai+ NovaTab.
The 33W charging support should make the larger battery more practical for users who regularly use the tablet for work or study and need to recharge between sessions.
However, Ai+ has not published independent battery-life results. Actual endurance will depend on factors such as screen brightness, refresh rate, 5G usage and workload.
Software & AI
The Nova LapTab runs Android 16 with Ai+’s nxtQ OS interface. This gives the device a current Android platform at launch.
The tablet’s software is particularly important because its keyboard and stylus features are intended to turn Android into a more productive desktop-like environment.
However, Ai+ has not provided a detailed long-term Android version or security-update commitment for the Nova LapTab. That remains an important unknown for buyers planning to use the device as a primary productivity machine for several years.
Despite the company’s AI-oriented branding, the launch information does not establish a comprehensive set of dedicated generative-AI features for the Nova LapTab. Its AI capabilities should therefore not be overstated based solely on the software branding or processor.
Connectivity & Special Features
The Nova LapTab supports 5G and Wi-Fi, allowing users to stay connected without depending entirely on a smartphone hotspot.
Its most important special features are the stylus and attachable physical keyboard support. These change the device’s intended use considerably compared with a standard tablet.
The keyboard can make longer writing and document work more practical, while the stylus can be useful for handwritten notes, annotations and educational applications.
The tablet also features quad speakers, which should make it better suited to video playback, online classes and conference calls than a basic dual-speaker configuration.
Price & Availability in India
The Ai+ Nova LapTab is available in a single announced configuration:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB – ₹24,999
*Price includes applicable bank offers.
The Nova LapTab will go on sale through Flipkart from October 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
It is offered in Teal Green and Dark Blue. Ai+ has announced India availability for the device, but broader international availability has not been announced in the launch information reviewed.
One point buyers should check before purchasing is whether the keyboard and stylus are included with the ₹24,999 package or sold separately. The launch coverage confirms compatibility/support, but the available reports do not consistently establish the final accessory-bundle details.
Competition & Alternatives
At ₹24,999, the Nova LapTab competes with several established Android tablets in India. The key question is whether buyers value its 3:2 display and laptop-style accessories more than the stronger processors, displays or software ecosystems offered by some alternatives.
| Alternative | Why Consider It? | Why Choose Nova LapTab Instead? |
|---|---|---|
| Redmi Pad Pro 5G | 12.1-inch 2.5K 120Hz display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and 5G | Larger 13.2-inch 3:2 display, keyboard/stylus productivity positioning |
| Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G | Established Samsung ecosystem and 5G | Higher-resolution 2.4K display and 10,000mAh battery |
| Poco Pad 5G | Large 12.1-inch 120Hz display and 5G | 3:2 display, stylus and keyboard support |
| Lenovo Idea Tab | Stronger mid-range productivity hardware | Nova LapTab offers 5G and a larger 13.2-inch 3:2 display |
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is particularly relevant. Current listings place its 8GB/256GB version around ₹28,348, while it offers a 12.1-inch 2560 × 1600 display, 120Hz refresh rate and 5G connectivity.
There are also newer tablets under ₹30,000, including the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro, Xiaomi Pad 7 and OnePlus Pad Go 2, giving buyers several alternatives as they move toward the ₹25,000–₹30,000 price range.
The Nova LapTab’s differentiator is therefore not simply its processor or display resolution. It is the combination of a large 3:2 screen, 5G, stylus support and physical keyboard compatibility.

Final Verdict: Should You Buy It?
The Ai+ Nova LapTab is aimed at a more specific audience than a conventional Android tablet. Its biggest selling point is the combination of a 13.2-inch 2.4K 90Hz display, 3:2 aspect ratio, stylus support and physical keyboard compatibility.
That makes it particularly interesting for students, writers and users who spend more time reading, typing, taking notes or working with documents than simply watching videos.
The 10,000mAh battery and 33W charging also fit the productivity focus, while 5G makes it possible to work online without depending entirely on Wi-Fi.
However, the ₹24,999 segment is competitive. Alternatives offer faster or better-established hardware, high-refresh-rate displays and more mature software ecosystems. The Nova LapTab therefore makes the most sense if its large 3:2 display and 2-in-1 design are features you will actually use.
Best for: Students, writers, remote workers, note-taking, document work and buyers who want a tablet with laptop-style accessories.
Consider alternatives if: You prioritise gaming performance, the strongest processor, long-term software support or the most established tablet ecosystem.
Bottom line: At ₹24,999 including bank offers, the Ai+ Nova LapTab is a distinctive entry into India’s mid-range tablet market. Its 13.2-inch 3:2 display, stylus and keyboard support give it a clearer productivity identity than many conventional tablets, but its long-term value will depend on accessory pricing, software support and real-world performance.
