vivo has launched the vivo Watch 6 in China alongside the X500 series and Buds Clip. The company’s latest smartwatch combines a 45mm case with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display, sapphire crystal protection and a 505mAh battery that vivo claims can deliver up to 21 days of battery life under light Bluetooth use.

The Watch 6 is available with either a 316L stainless steel or TC4 titanium alloy case, while the titanium model is offered with eSIM connectivity. The smartwatch runs BlueOS 4.0 and includes dual-frequency GNSS, more than 100 sports modes, health monitoring features, NFC and independent communication on eSIM models.

Design & Build

The vivo Watch 6 uses a 45mm round case measuring 9.5mm thick. Buyers can choose between stainless steel and titanium alloy construction.

The stainless steel versions use 316L stainless steel, while the premium model uses TC4 titanium alloy. According to vivo, the titanium version weighs around 37.7g without the strap, compared with approximately 44.11g for the stainless steel Bluetooth version.

The titanium model is offered in the Original colour, while the stainless steel versions are available in Wilderness and Moonlight.

The display is protected by artificial sapphire crystal. Sapphire is substantially harder than conventional smartwatch cover glass, making it particularly relevant for a device that remains exposed to knocks and scratches during everyday wear.

The Watch 6 is also rated IP68 for dust and water resistance and 5ATM for water resistance. That provides additional protection for everyday use and swimming-related scenarios, although it should not be interpreted as making the watch suitable for every type of underwater activity.

The headline specification is its claimed 3,500-nit peak brightness. vivo specifies this figure for certain outdoor sports scenarios at a 30% local peak brightness level, rather than as a full-screen sustained brightness figure.

The display also has a 1.49mm bezel and an 85.8% screen-to-body ratio.

vivo also lists pulse-wave-based arrhythmia analysis for detecting and providing alerts about events such as atrial fibrillation and premature beats. The company states that these results are for reference and are not intended to replace clinical diagnosis.

Performance & Software

The vivo Watch 6 runs BlueOS 4.0, vivo’s proprietary smartwatch platform.

The software supports functions including NFC cards, vehicle keys, payments, voice recording, calendar features and third-party applications. vivo also lists support for the wrist version of WeChat when paired with an Android phone and connected through Bluetooth. Some of these functions are delivered through OTA updates or are restricted to vivo and iQOO phones.

The eSIM version adds a more important hardware capability: independent communication. Users can make calls, receive messages and use navigation without relying on a Bluetooth connection to their smartphone.

This makes the eSIM version more useful for runners and other users who want to leave their phone behind during outdoor activities.

Battery & Charging

The vivo Watch 6 packs a 505mAh battery and uses magnetic wired charging.

vivo claims up to:

The Watch 6 supports Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and dual-frequency GNSS.

NFC functionality covers transport and access cards, payments and supported vehicle keys. The watch can also store and display certain cards through vivo’s ecosystem.

The eSIM variant adds independent cellular connectivity, allowing calls, messages and navigation without the phone nearby.

The watch also includes a microphone and speaker, enabling Bluetooth calling and voice-related functions directly from the wrist.

Price & Availability

The vivo Watch 6 has launched in China in three configurations. The stainless steel Bluetooth version is priced at CNY 999, while the stainless steel eSIM model costs CNY 1,399. The top-end titanium alloy version with eSIM connectivity is priced at CNY 1,999.

The stainless steel models are available in Wilderness and Moonlight, while the titanium alloy eSIM version comes in the Original colourway. The smartwatch will go on sale in China from September 28, 2026.

vivo is also offering a range of additional vivoLife straps for the Watch 6. The separately sold options include the Bamboo Style – Titanium strap priced at CNY 799, the Milanese – Titanium strap at CNY 699, the Green & White Colour Blocking strap at CNY 249, and the Light Oxygen Blue and Qinye Green straps at CNY 199 each.

The additional straps are sold separately from the smartwatch and are compatible with the vivo Watch 6.

At launch, vivo has not announced official availability of the Watch 6 in India or other international markets. For now, the listed prices apply to the Chinese market.
